The vehicle sensor lets you know any time a vehicle enter or exits your property. The vehicle sensor detects metal and is activated by the movement of a vehicle or any metal object within a 14 foot area of the sensor.
The vehicle sensor probe best operates when buried about 6 inches deep beside or under your driveway. Then run the wire to the house and connect it to the control unit. The actual size of the probe 1 inch by 15 inches. Plug the control unit into a wall outlet and it will ring like a doorbell when someone drives by the sensor. The driveway bell will ring for about two seconds but may adjusted to ring up to twenty seconds for those who require a longer audible sound.
The basic unit consists of one control unit with one bell as well as one vehicle sensor with 100 feet of wire. Additional wire, bells, and sensor may be added. If you wish additional wire the vehicle sensor will come with the necessary length so that no splicing will be necessary.
Installation is very simple. No electrician is necessary. A chain saw or lawn edger works well to dig a trench about 3 inches deep to bury the wire or you may rent a gas powered trencher from the local rental center. After digging the trench bury the 3 strand shielded exterior wire ( about 1/4" in diameter). Then connect the wire from the vehicle sensor to the control unit and plug the driveway bell into the wall outlet and you are ready.
The control unit is a 24 volt system and can activate our light controls, sirens, telephone tape dialer , etc.

When used in conjunction with the Drive-Alert, it will turn on 10 amps of lights, sirens or bells. The unit simply plugs into a 120 VAC outlet and contains its own receptacle to provide power to lights or alarms. The alarm or lights can be adjusted to operate from 1 to 45 minutes. Also available for 12 volt applications.
